This beautiful boro jacquard fabric is mud-dyed with sashiko accents, crafted by artisans on Japan's Amami-Oshima islands. The Dorozome dye techniques used for this production have a tradition spanning many hundreds of years, combining tannins from the Japanese Hawthorne tree before multiple rounds of immersion in mineral-rich mud found on the islands.
